She performs research and teaches classes on both Asian American studies and race, gender, and ethnicity in media. Her latest book, Reel Inequality: Hollywood Actors and Racism, "examines the barriers actors of color face in Hollywood and how they creatively challenge stereotypes."And, Nancy is leading a new study of representation called PRIME TIME: Asian Pacific Americans in Television.
