“It also started because I was pregnant.”

“So your affair is my fault?”

On the opposite side of the couch, Noa unfolded her arms and looked at Morrow. “I'm not blaming you.”

“How kind.” Morrow rolled his eyes at the counselor sitting in the stuffed armchair across from them.

Noa remained quiet.

Morrow glowered at her. “You don’t have anything else say?”

Noa met his glare. “I didn’t want to hurt you.”

Morrow softened. “But you did.”

“I know I did. But I don’t regret it.”
