What she does: Angela is the founder and CEO of NewME, a startup accelerator that has "pioneered diversity in Silicon Valley by focusing on helping entrepreneurs identify strengths from their non-traditional backgrounds and leveraging them in business."

Why she's inspiring: Angela was a young mother trying to get through high school and college. Now she runs her own successful business helping other people create successful businesses. Her passion for increasing diversity in the tech industry has been documented by a plethora of media outlets, including CNN with Soledad O'Brien's special report, Black in America: The New Promised Land - Silicon Valley.
